Bicycling Counts
Inspired to celebrate the collective impact of cyclists, this project uses bicycle counters to ‘show’ what the data from passing bicyclists means in terms of environmental, financial and individual social impact.
The resulting series of real-time animations was tested on a public graffiti wall in Malmö, Sweden as a subtle acknowledgment of the larger contributions of passing cyclists. The visuals animate randomly and change over time.’
