A set of murals on the interior of this much-loved neighborhood cafe tells the story of the cafe’s food from farm to kitchen to customer to compost to farm while illustrating a source of the cafe’s inspiration: ”Innumerable measures bring us this food; we should know how it comes to us.” The murals show how the cafe’s practices contribute to a better world; locally and globally.

The aim of the project was to provide a visual reminder of the strong connections that the cafe maintains with local farmers. Installed in January 2012 on printed canvas, the main visual can be become a repeating pattern for other applications.
